A Paraplanner is an industry name given to a personal assistant of an IFA. The difference to an administrator being they are of high calibre, fully qualified in financial advice, extremely computer literate and technically minded. The average wage of a Paraplanner is £40,000 plus (Money Marketing magazine 19 July 2007).
